Mass Effect 2 on PS3 – Mass Effect 3 Confirmed
With the blogosphere unsure of whether the second installment of mass effect would make it to ps3 we have heard rumbles that it possibly will, but not untill well after the original game release on pc and xbox 360, this time presumably goes on recompiling the game for the ps3s confusing architecture. We still arent sure and think mass effect 2 probably wont make it to ps3, Mass effect 3 however appears to now have been confirmed by the mass effect creator (Project director Casey Hudson) and may potentially hold some space combat.
Casey also confirmed some nice desired features, that they would like to have the capacity from one save file from the first game to be automatically pulled into the second, so you feel as if the first, second and third mass effects are all linked as a single story. This would add gel to the trilogy and no doubt inspire a greater number of sales, especially reassuring the creation of mass effect 3. Excellent. All this wonderful game news means that the near future should be full of mass effect goodness, with mass effect 2 hitting home in the first quarter of 2010, hopefully mass effect 3 wont be more than a year after that!
Unlucky for the PS3 owners though potentially. I think bioware will get there in the end.
I really liked part one. I am so anxious for part two and I am so sure part three will be great as well. I hope to see more details on part 2 and 3 soon.
